Technical Consultant – Aspen Tech Petroleum & Supply Chain Suite Products in Scope Aspen Petroleum Scheduler (APS / Orion) Aspen PIMS / PIMS-AO (Planning & Advanced Optimization) Aspen MMDM (Master Data Management for Refining & Supply Chain) Aspen Petroleum Supply Chain Planner (PSCP) Aspen Collaborative Demand Manager (CDM) Role Summary The Technical Consultant is responsible for model build, configuration, integration, optimization, and technical support of Aspen Tech planning, scheduling, and supply chain solutions across refining and petroleum value chains. The role focuses on hands-on model engineering, data integration, scenario execution, and performance tuning, working closely with planners, schedulers, and IT teams. 1. Aspen Petroleum Scheduler (APS) – Technical Responsibilities Build, maintain, and enhance APS scheduling models (crude, process units, blending, inventories, shipments) Configure: Flowsheets Events, constraints, and scheduling windows Excel Units workbooks and Orion Excel Emulator (OXE) Perform event-based scheduling, scenario runs, and what-if analysis Support real-time schedule adjustments and operational troubleshooting Integrate APS with: Aspen PIMS targets Inventory, movements, and execution systems Optimize model performance and resolve data/interface issues aspentech.com, linkedin.com 2. Aspen PIMS / PIMS-AO – Technical Responsibilities Develop and maintain Linear Programming (LP) and Advanced Optimization models Configure: Refinery planning tables Constraints, economics, pricing, and assay data Run and troubleshoot: PIMS base cases Multi-scenario and parametric analyses Interpret solver results, warnings, and infeasibilities Support integration of: PIMS → APS targets PIMS → Supply Chain models Ensure model robustness, data accuracy, and solver performance [

Key Responsibilities

1. To develop and deliver ,detailed solutions through consulting project activities
2. To perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client-specific solutions
3. To coordinate with Internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective deliver of client specific solution
4. To design,structure and deliver reports and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience
5. To cultivate successful customer relationships
