ERP Specialist

Job Summary

• System Configuration & Implementation: Designing, configuring, and testing SAP MM functionalities (master data, purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification) to meet business needs.

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborating with business stakeholders to map business processes to SAP ERP functions and creating functional specifications.

• Support & Troubleshooting: Providing post-go-live support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing fixes or enhancements.

• Integration: Ensuring seamless integration of MM with other modules, including SAP Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Sales & Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP).

• Documentation: Producing detailed documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, and configuration guides.

• End-User Training: Conducting training sessions to help users understand and effectively use the system.

Key Responsibilities

1. To administer ERP in production environment

2. To monitor occurrences of new software releases, support packs and kernel upgrades and how these affect the application and users.

3. To manage database optimization, back-up and recovery

4. To perform troubleshooting at the ERP and database level

5. To train and transfer knowledge to the team members
