Job Summary : Responsible for managing end-to-end shift operations of the data center ensuring SLA adherence, operational continuity, and compliance with security and regulatory standards. Acts as the primary escalation point for incidents, leads technical execution of complex IMAC activities, and ensures smooth coordination across teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
ob Description : DC Technician (L2)\\r\\n Location: Frankfurt (Onsite)\\r\\n Experience: 5–7 Years \\r\\n\\r\\n Role Summary\\r\\n Responsible for managing end-to-end shift operations of the data center ensuring SLA adherence, operational continuity, and compliance with security and regulatory standards. Acts as the primary escalation point for incidents, leads technical execution of complex IMAC activities, and ensures smooth coordination across teams, vendors, and stakeholders.\\r\\n Key Responsibilities\\r\\n• Own and manage shift-level operations ensuring 24x7 service availability and adherence to SLA/KPI targets\\r\\n• Act as the primary escalation point for incidents (P1/P2/P3) and ensure timely response and resolution\\r\\n• Perform advanced troubleshooting across server, storage, and network infrastructure\\r\\n• Execute and supervise complex IMAC/R/D activities including rack & stack, cabling validation, and high-density deployments\\r\\n• Ensure all installations adhere to defined design standards, power, and cooling constraints\\r\\n• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents and ensure proper documentation\\r\\n• Validate capacity availability (power, space, cooling) using DCIM tools before deployments\\r\\n• Manage and execute approved changes while ensuring high change success rate\\r\\n• Coordinate with OEM vendors, colocation providers, and internal teams for issue resolution and maintenance activities\\r\\n• Ensure enforcement of data center security policies including 4-eyes access control and vendor escort compliance\\r\\n• Support audit and compliance requirements including SOC audits, site inspections, and risk assessments (TVRA/SSA)\\r\\n• Review and validate CMDB and asset updates ensuring high data accuracy (>99%)\\r\\n• Ensure proper shift handover documentation and reporting of operational activities\\r\\n• Mentor L1 resources and ensure adherence to operational procedures and standards\\r\\n• Identify process improvement opportunities and support service optimization initiatives\\r\\n Skills & Competencies\\r\\n• Strong understanding of data center operations (rack, stack, cabling, infrastructure management)\\r\\n• Advanced troubleshooting skills for servers, storage, and network devices\\r\\n• Hands-on experience in IMAC activities and structured cabling (fiber & copper)\\r\\n• Knowledge of DCIM and monitoring tools (PowerIQ, Asset Point, etc.)\\r\\n• Experience working with ITSM tools such as Service Now\\r\\n• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes\\r\\n• Understanding of capacity management (power, space, cooling)\\r\\n• Strong coordination and vendor management\\r\\n• Excellent communication skills (English mandatory; German preferred)\\r\\n• Ability to work in SLA-driven environments\\r\\n Qualifications\\r\\n• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering or IT
