Job Summary

Acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams for Oracle Xstore POS implementation
-
Works within a staff augmentation model, complementing the other vendor teams.

Ensures business requirements are accurately translated into functional and technical specifications aligned to global POS template
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Management & Analysis
-
Lead requirement gathering and analysis for Oracle Xstore POS across retail store operations
-
Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to capture functional, operational, and regulatory needs
-
Analyse existing POS systems and identify gaps for migration to Oracle Xstore
-
Document clear, structured requirements aligned with standard POS processes and global template
Functional Design & Solution Mapping
-
Translate business requirements into functional specifications, use cases, and process flows
-
Map retail business processes to Oracle Xstore capabilities ensuring minimal customization
-
Support definition of configurations, workflows, and POS transaction scenarios
-
Ensure solutions align with global template and reference store models provided by Oracle Consulting
Skill Requirements
Oracle Xstore Domain Expertise

Apply strong understanding of retail POS operations including billing, returns, inventory, payments, and promotions
-
Support configuration and functional alignment of Oracle Xstore for store operations
-
Address localization requirements including fiscal rules, compliance, and country-specific business processes

Collaborate with Solution Architect to ensure functional and technical alignment

Support rollout activities across multiple countries

Adapt requirements and solutions to local market needs while maintaining global standardization

Enable repeatable rollout through standardized documentation and reusable process definitions

Support rollout planning, readiness, and deployment activities
Stakeholder & Communication Management

Engage with business users, store operations teams, and IT stakeholders across regions

Facilitate workshops, requirement sign-offs, and stakeholder alignment sessions
-
Act as single point of contact for functional clarifications across multi-vendor teams
-
Ensure consistent communication across business, technical, and delivery teams
Other Requirements
Collaboration & Ecosystem Alignment

Work closely with vendors to understand global template and rollout approach

Collaborate with Solution Architects, developers, testers, and integration teams

Ensure clear ownership boundaries between vendors, customer teams, and system integrators

Support alignment across functional and technical workstreams

Support definition and execution of test scenarios including SIT and UAT

Validate POS functionalities such as transactions, integrations, and store workflows

Assist in defect triaging, analysis, and resolution with development teams

Ensure business requirements are thoroughly validated before deployment
--- #### Change Management & Adoption Support

Support embedded change management activities including communication and training inputs

Assist in development of user documentation, process guides, and training materials

Ensure business readiness and user adoption across store operations
-
Actively support rollout readiness and user engagement across countries
--- #### Risk, Dependency & Issue Management

Identify functional risks including gaps in requirements, process deviations, and adoption challenges

Manage dependencies across business, technical, and rollout streams
-
Support escalation and resolution of functional issues during delivery and rollout
-
Ensure alignment with rollout waves and deployment timelines

Maintain comprehensive documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and user stories

Ensure traceability of requirements across lifecycle from design to deployment

Contribute to reusable documentation assets for future rollouts
Strategic Alignment Responsibilities

Align business requirements with customer’s POS transformation and standardization objectives

Enable consistent and scalable retail processes across regions
-
Support delivery of unified customer experience through standardized POS capabilities

Contribute to improved operational efficiency and adoption of new platform
