Job Summary

This role supports the development, maintenance, and enhancement of data solutions using Teradata and Unix Shell scripting. The individual applies foundational technical skills to deliver reliable data outputs, resolve issues, and document work, ensuring adherence to established quality and delivery standards within the project team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement database solutions using Teradata SQL, following coding standards and project specifications.
2. Maintain and troubleshoot Teradata-based applications by applying basic debugging techniques to resolve data and performance issues.
3. Utilize Unix Shell scripting for routine data processing tasks and automation within assigned modules.
4. Translate client requirements into functional code using Teradata, ensuring alignment with defined features and project needs.
5. Document developed code and procedures in accordance with project guidelines and organizational best practices.

Skill Requirements

1. Basic understanding of Teradata SQL for data manipulation and query creation.
2. Fundamental knowledge of Unix Shell scripting for automating simple tasks.
3. Familiarity with relational database concepts and data warehousing principles.
4. Ability to follow established coding standards and delivery processes.

Other Requirements
