Job Summary

(S4HANA SAP EAM / SAP Plant Maintenance)
Responsibilities

Responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module to support plant operations and asset management.
Must have experience in EAM and SAP Plant Maintenance module
The ideal candidate will ensure equipment reliability, improve maintenance workflows, and leverage the SAP PM system to minimize downtime and maximize asset life.

Key Objectives:

Configure and customize the SAP PM module, including master data (e.g., functional locations, equipment, task lists, maintenance plans) and processes like preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.

Oversee the entire maintenance lifecycle within SAP, from creating work orders and notifications to closing them out.

Design and implementation of full solutions.

Manage master data, load data into the system, analyze maintenance data, and generate reports on KPIs and costs.

Work with other SAP modules like Materials Management (MM), Controlling (CO), and Quality Management (QM) to ensure seamless integration with Plant Maintenance.

Develop and execute test scenarios (unit, integration, and user acceptance testing) for new developments and system updates.

Provide support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training sessions on SAP PM processes and functionalities.

Assist in the implementation and enhancement of SAP PM solutions, which may include client workshops, process mapping, gap analysis, and documentation.

Act as a liaison between maintenance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business needs.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science/ information technology/ engineering or any relevant.

• Minimum 10 years+ of experience.

• Strong SAP implementation experience within plant maintenance of business and cross modular experience /CS/PS/QM/ etc.

• Knowledge of integration between PM and MM/HR/FICO modules.

• Maintenance Repair & Overhaul experience within asset intensive industries.

• Experience in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA projects with architecture skills.

• Experience of implementing SAP solutions for the maintenance of assets in highly regulated environment

• RFP & Pre-sales Support

To support as an Subject Matter Expert:

1. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements

2. Ensuring a sufficient pool of skilled professionals in the designated technology, through activities such as conducting interviews, providing training sessions and offering mentorship.

3. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology.

4. To support competency development with envisioning and articulating propositions – building collaterals/ whitepaper creation, market trend analysis etc.

5. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
