Role Description – Task and Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Configuration/Customization of the Service Now platform, including creating workflows.

  • Lead the conceptualization, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing features for the existing portfolio of applications for a business area.

  • Design, code, configure, unit test, maintain, and document software deliverables using agreed upon standards and tools.

  • Build service requests from customer requirements including requests, request items and tasks using workflows (manage data flows from the customer to the support teams providing the service).

  • Use scripting tools and Service Now functionality to automate rote tasks fulfillment in Service Now.

  • Perform integrations and process automation using Service Now Orchestration.

  • Experience with Service Now App Engine and custom/scoped app development experience

  • Load, manipulate and maintain data between Service Now and other systems.Job Responsibilities

  • Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the application.

  • Collaborate with team members and business users to clarify requirements and confirm design/implementation.

  • Follow set coding best practices and standards.

  • Foster a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

  • Adhere to the system development life cycle (SDLC) processes.

  • Test and debug team solutions.

  • Participate in on-call rotation to troubleshoot and prioritize Incidents assigned to team.

  • Document processes/solutions/fixes in Knowledge Base.

  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units, and the Company. Interact appropriately with others to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Required Experience and Educational Qualification:

  • 2-6 years of Service Now App Engine development and support experience

  • Btec/ Graduate

Key Responsibilities

  1. Track project milestones and deliverables using Microsoft Project and internal IT tools to ensure adherence to program timelines and budgets.
  2. Assist in collating project documentation and reports utilizing Microsoft Office Suite for program status updates within the team.
  3. Support integration activities by coordinating task assignments and follow-ups using collaboration platforms such as Teams and Share Point.
  4. Monitor program quality benchmarks by maintaining checklists and assisting in internal quality reviews.
  5. Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions around program progress, risks, and actionable items.
