"We are seeking a skilled and motivated Telco Cloud Engineer to join our team and support the design, deployment, and optimization of cloud-native infrastructure for telecommunications services using leading edge technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and network functions virtualization (NFV), and will play a key role in enabling scalable, resilient, and automated telco environments.

• Key Responsibilities

• Customer consultancy: Propose, design, implement and support Telco Cloud solutions ( e.g., NFV, CNF)

• Collaborate with customer and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Deploy and manage platforms such as Open Stack, Kubernetes, and containerized network functions.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across compute, storage, and networking layers.

• Ensure high availability and scalability of telco cloud environments.

• Support migration from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.

• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.

• Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Linux systems (preferably RHEL/CentOS).

• Experience with virtualization (KVM, VMware, VMware Vcloud, VMware NSX-T) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).

• Familiarity with telco protocols and networking concepts (Layer 2/3, SDN, routing, switching).

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash).

• Understanding of cloud-native storage solutions (e.g., ?? ).

• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios).

• Knowledge of NFVi, VNFM, and orchestration frameworks.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Fluent in English.

• Travel up to 50% of time is possible

Key Responsibilities

1. To architect| design and develop (through Team) solution for product/project & sustenance delivery

To support as an Subject Matter Expert:

1. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements

2. Ensuring a sufficient pool of skilled professionals in the designated technology, through activities such as conducting interviews, providing training sessions and offering mentorship.

3. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology.

4. To support competency development with envisioning and articulating propositions – building collaterals/ whitepaper creation, market trend analysis etc.

5. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
