Overview:

The Product Manager – Technical (PM‑T) is responsible for owning the “why” and the “what” of one or more technical products or platforms.
This role ensures the team is building the right product, in the right order, with a strong focus on customer value, technical feasibility, and delivery outcomes.
The PM‑T works closely with Software Engineering, Architecture, UX, and Technical Program Managers to translate business and customer needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
This is an individual contributor role requiring strong product thinking, technical understanding, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Role
Understand customer, business, and operational problems and translate them into a clear product vision and roadmap.
Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from discovery and definition through delivery, validation, and adoption.
Define and maintain a prioritized backlog of Epics, Features, and User Stories aligned to business priorities.
Decompose business requirements and customer experiences into clear, testable user stories with well‑defined acceptance criteria.
Partner with Engineering and Architecture to validate technical feasibility, scalability, and solution design.
Balance competing stakeholder requests by applying structured prioritization frameworks (e.g., value vs. effort, risk).

Key Responsibilities

Write high‑quality JIRA / ALM tickets that clearly articulate the value, scope, and validation approach for each item.
Participate in and support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with Technical Program Managers to support delivery milestones, dependencies, and release planning.
Support functional testing and validation, ensuring delivered features meet acceptance criteria.
Monitor product performance and outcomes using metrics, operational data, and customer feedback.
Communicate product priorities, progress, and trade‑offs clearly to stakeholders.

All About You:

You have 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, or a closely related role.
You have experience working on enterprise or platform products in complex or large‑scale environments.
You have a strong technical foundation, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers on APIs, system design, and architecture concepts.
You have experience working with cloud‑based and distributed systems, including APIs and microservices.
You are comfortable working in Agile / Scrum / Kanban environments.
You have demonstrated success in backlog ownership, prioritization, and incremental value delivery.
You are skilled at stakeholder communication and navigating competing priorities.
You are analytical, data‑informed, and outcome‑oriented in your product decisions.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
You demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a customer‑first mindset.Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
