Program Manager – Plant Engineering Delivery (Oil & Gas / Power / Energy / Petrochemicals)Role Overview

The Program Manager – Plant Engineering Delivery is responsible to manage and drive execution of plant engineering programs across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power and Energy sectors by ensuring effective planning, coordination, and delivery governance, while supporting customer engagement, risk management, and delivery performance across multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

--- Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end delivery of plant engineering projects across lifecycle stages (FEED, detailed engineering, plant modifications, and support services) ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, cost, and quality.

• Manage program planning, scheduling, and tracking, including milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.

• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, I&C, Civil) to ensure seamless execution and interface management.

• Establish and monitor project governance frameworks including KPIs, dashboards, status reporting, and periodic reviews.

• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive timely mitigation and escalation to leadership where required.

• Act as a key interface between customer and internal teams, ensuring alignment on deliverables, timelines, and expectations.

• Support bid proposals, estimation, and project planning activities for new opportunities.

• Track and drive resource utilization, productivity, and cost efficiency across assigned programs.

• Ensure compliance with engineering quality standards, safety norms, and client requirements (API, ASME, ISO, etc.).

• Support contract and change management, including tracking variations, scope changes, and documentation.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, standardization, and adoption of tools/processes to improve delivery efficiency.

--- Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline)

• 20+ years of experience in Plant Engineering / EPC / Engineering Services

• Experience in Oil & Gas, Power, or Petrochemical projects with experience in complete plant engineering lifecycle (FEED to commissioning support)

• Proven experience in:

• Managing engineering project delivery or program coordination roles

• Handling multi-disciplinary engineering teams

• Working in global delivery / offshore execution environments
