About the role
Job Summary
Should have around 6 to 8 years of experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining Linux environment, will be responsible for:
- Skills Required
✓ Expertise installing, configuring, and supporting the RHEL 7- 10 operating systems
✓ Expertise and knowledge of Hypervisor like Vmware & Nutanix.
✓ File system, LVM and Swap administration.
✓ Expertise in troubleshooting and RCA's.
✓ Expertise in kernel fine-tuning & troubleshooting.
✓ Expertise in NFS, CIFS mount.
Handson Experience in AWS & Azure Cloud.
Handson Experience in Puppet.
Basic Knowledge of Ansible & Terraform:
Basic Knowledge of Azure Dev-ops & Github.
✓ Excellent knowledge of ITIL process for incident / change management.
✓ Strong communication skills are imperative, including assertiveness and taking ownership of issues and requests.
Should be willing to provide 24 X 7 Oncall support (Based on schedule)
Possess the ability to script/automate spot solutions, providing a significant advantage.
This role operates independently with minimal managerial guidance, and there is potential for mentoring other Infrastructure Engineers. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high standards of delivery and delighting customers.
