Technical Lead

Job Summary

The primary deliverable is on time delivery of all equipment required for NPI engineering builds. They will follow best practices and carry out the tasks efficiently and effectively. They will communicate status through weekly reports. They will flag issues and escalate roadblocks early along with suggested corrective actions.
The Logistic Coordinator will be the primary owner for all the tasks and outcomes listed in the following section.
They are grouped into:

• Build readiness
• BOM data readiness and tracking (supplier & CM)
• Procurement cycle (P2P) data validation
• Logistics paperwork (customs, shipping & receiving)
• Reporting

Build readiness: Complete station qty demand per build updated based on plan, highlight long lead time items (LLT)

BoM Readiness: Get sign-off in time for build from station DRI
per station BO

Procurement: Release purchase orders and track approvals on time per build for consign & reimburse request. Complete OK2pay for purchase orders

Logistics & Inventory: Paperwork completion and timely arrival for all shipment

Reporting: Build Readiness Report. Highlight critical items and blockers immediately. Report weekly and/ or daily depending on critical items and build blockers, BoM readiness report Weekly Updates, Inventory report per build, program report.

Skill Requirements

• Requires BS degree, plus at least 2 years related hardware manufacturing, custom
  instrumentation and fixture procurement experience or equivalent.
• Experience working with overseas contract manufacturers and vendors.
• Proficient in data management systems (PLM systems, MS Excel, Tableau) or other database
  platform.
• Experience handling complex global logistics and customs.
• SAP experience

Other Requirements

• Resources should be on-site every non public holiday day, Monday to Friday. Work at site/
  program time zone. Reporting or escalations within Apple lead team timezone
