Java Technical Specialist - RESTful API, Spring Boot

Job Summary

Contribute to the architectural design, development, and deployment of Java/J2EE applications, RESTful services, and Spring Boot projects as a Technical Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and drive the technical aspects of projects, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and implement java/j2ee applications and restful services based on business requirements.

2. Architect and lead the development of scalable and secure solutions using spring boot.

3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze technical requirements and recommend solutions.

4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

5. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of applications.

6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in java/j2ee, restful services, and spring boot development.

Skill Requirements

Must Have:

Must have 8+ years of experience in Web application development.

Extensive experience in web development, application development, component development using Java technologies like Java, JSP, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle Database, Jboss server, Web Sphere, Java script, React JS and Web Services.

Good experience in AWS Components, Lambda, ECS, S3, Webservices, DevOps pipelines, build and deployments.

Should be a team player with strong technical background

Working closely with web admins, OIS teams forrofile frequent re-runs to make sure the vulnerabilities are fixed.

Strong knowledge in monitoring and logging tools like App Dynamic, Splunk, CloudWatch

Strong knowledge of using Copilot

1.Relevant certifications in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, or related technologies are a plus.
