About the role
Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager at HCL will be responsible for project and program management using Agile methodology. They will oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage cross functional project teams to deliver high-quality results within scope and schedule

Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies

Monitor project progress, identify and address issues or risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders

Implement agile methodologies to improve efficiency, transparency, and collaboration within the project team

Coordinate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives with overall business goals

Conduct post project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices
Skill Requirements

Strong proficiency in program management principles and practices

Solid understanding and experience in agile methodology and frameworks (e.g., scrum, kanban)

Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively motivate teams and collaborate with stakeholders

Ability to make strategic decisions, prioritize tasks, and solve problems efficiently under pressure

Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget

Proficiency in project management tools and software for planning, monitoring, and reporting progress
Other Requirements
1.Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master) are a plus.
Client Requirement Role Summary Own end-to-end product delivery, backlog, and value realization in Agile environment Gather and translate business requirements into user stories & acceptance criteria
Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog** Drive** Agile ceremonies** (backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews) Participate in** PI planning, roadmap alignment, and dependency tracking
Work closely with stakeholders (Business, Tech, UX) for alignment and delivery Review and accept completed user stories** ensuring quality delivery** Skills Required
Strong experience in Agile/Scrum (or SAFe)** delivery model Expertise in** backlog management, story writing, and prioritization
Good stakeholder communication and requirement articulation Experience with tools like Jira / Agile tracking tools Nice to Have
Experience in Banking/Fin Tech domain
Product Owner certification (e.g., PSPO)
