Job Summary
Job Responsibilities : Batch Scheduling & Operations Create, modify, and maintain Control‑M jobs, folders, calendars, and dependencies Perform job scheduling, promotion, and migration across environments (Lower → Higher) Execute ad‑hoc, emergency, and mass operations (hold, release, rerun) Manage time zones, daylight saving changes, and year‑end calendar activities
Skill Requirement : Technical Skills Required Strong hands‑on experience with BMC Control‑M (EM, Server, Agent) Expertise in job scheduling concepts, calendars, conditions, resources Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, shell scripting basics Experience in HA/DR concepts and batch recovery Familiarity with cloud‑hosted Control‑M environments (Azure / AWS)
Other Requirement : Application & Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with application teams for onboarding, cutovers, and migrations Provide application rollout and batch automation support Communicate proactively with application owners, infra teams, and business users Participate in change reviews and CAB meetings
The Subject Matter Expert (Support & Ops) plays a critical role in ensuring timely resolution of escalations and incidents while adhering to SLA and quality standards. This position requires in-depth expertise in BMC Control M and PowerShell, facilitating effective communication and documentation, and driving customer satisfaction by actively engaging with stakeholders.
