Skill Requirements

1. Strong proficiency in MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL Administration with a solid understanding of database management and optimization.

2. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.

3. Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in mentoring and developing team members.

4. Familiarity with service level agreements (SLAs) and operational performance metrics.

5. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience in managing the Database Team:

1. Technical Expert on MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL Administration

2. Hands On experience on HA, DR deployment on (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)

3. Database Migration and Optimization expertise on (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)

4. Database Performance management on (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)

5. Database Consolidation and Capacity management (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and Postgre)

Other Requirements

The Database Administrator (L3) is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for advanced database management, architecture support, and critical incident resolution. This role acts as the final escalation point (L3) for complex database issues, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and governance across production environments.
