About the role

Job Summary

AWS Consultant : The AWS Infrastructure Architect (L3) is a senior consulting role responsible for designing, implementing, and governing highly scalable, secure, and fault‑tolerant cloud architectures on AWS in alignment with business and enterprise technology strategies. The role serves as a key technical authority within the AWS Delivery Unit, supporting large‑scale cloud adoption, migration, and modernization initiatives. This position specializes in AWS Landing Zone design and multi‑account strategy using AWS Control Tower and AWS Organizations, ensuring compliance with the AWS Well‑Architected Framework, security, and governance standards. The architect leads complex infrastructure designs covering networking, security, hybrid connectivity, container platforms, and serverless architectures, while enabling enterprise‑grade solutions across cloud and hybrid environments. The role requires deep hands‑on expertise in core AWS services, advanced networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, CloudWAN), security services, monitoring, and infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). The AWS Infrastructure Architect (L3) plays a critical role in private cloud to AWS migrations, platform standardization, and continuous improvement, while collaborating closely with customers, cloud engineers, and cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, compliant, and future‑ready AWS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

a. Solid understanding of AWS services: You should have an in-depth knowledge of various AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, and their use cases, configurations, and best practices. b. Cloud architecture design: You should be able to design highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud architectures that align with business requirements and follow AWS best practices. c. Security and compliance: Understanding AWS security services like IAM, VPC, Security Groups, and compliance requirements is essential. d. Networking expertise: Knowledge of networking concepts like VPCs, subnets, routing tables, gateways, cloudWAN is crucial for designing secure and efficient network architectures. e. Automation and scripting: Proficiency in using infrastructure as code tools like Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning and management. Terraform enterprise and harness as nice to have. f. Monitoring and logging: Familiarity with AWS monitoring and logging services like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config for monitoring resources, analyzing logs, and maintaining compliance. g. Migration and hybrid cloud: Experience in migrating private cloud workloads to AWS and designing cloud architectures h. Containerization and serverless: Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and AWS ECS/EKS, as well as serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and AWS Step Functions. i. Problem-solving and troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a cloud environment. j. Continuous learning: Ability to stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development. Certifications:
