About the role
Job Summary
Language Required: Multilingual (English/German/French)\r\n The Vendor Manager is responsible for managing relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery, cost efficiency, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals. This role acts as the primary point of contact between the organization and its vendors, overseeing contract performance, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities : • Manage end-to-end vendor relationships, including onboarding, performance management, and renewals \r\n• Monitor vendor performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs \r\n• Conduct regular vendor reviews and business performance meetings \r\n• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimization initiatives \r\n• Ensure vendor compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and security standards \r\n• Collaborate with internal stakeholders \r\n• Manage vendor-related risks and resolve escalations and disputes \r\n• Track and report vendor spend, performance metrics, and contract statuses \r\n• Drive continuous improvement and innovation through vendor partnerships
Skill Requirement : • Strong negotiation and contract management skills \r\n• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management abilities \r\n• Analytical and financial acumen (cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting) \r\n• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills \r\n• Ability to manage multiple vendors and priorities simultaneously \r\n• Knowledge of procurement, compliance, and risk management practices \r\n• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities \r\n• Proficiency in vendor management tools, ERP systems, or procurement platforms
Other Requirement : • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field \r\n• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred\r\n• 8 -12+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, sourcing, or commercial roles \r\n• Proven experience managing large, complex, multi year vendor contracts \r\n• Experience in enterprise or global organizations preferred
