Job Description – DevOps Engineer (3–5 Years)*(CI/CD | GitHub / DevOps Platform | Migration Program )*Role Overview

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (3–5 years experience)** to support a large-scale** CI/CD platform migration and automation program**, with focus on** GitHub, pipeline execution, and runner setup**. The role involves working on** repository migration support, CI/CD pipeline validation, and DevOps tooling integration in a structured, phased delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Support migration of code repositories and CI/CD pipelines across platforms (GitHub as primary target)Work on CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent tools) including setup and troubleshooting Configure and support **execution environments (runners/agents/build nodes)**Assist in setup and validation of self-hosted or cloud-based runners

Manage secrets, environment variables, and pipeline configurations

Support integration with tools such as Jira, Service Now, code scanning tools (e.g., Coverity)Execute migration activities during defined windows and code freeze periods

Perform pipeline validation and issue resolution post-migration

Develop simple automation/scripts using Shell/Python or similar tools

Skill Requirements

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices

Hands-on experience with at least one CI/CD platform: GitHub Actions / Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitLab CIExperience working with build and deployment pipelines

Basic experience in Linux systems and scripting (Shell/Python)Understanding of source control systems (Git)Familiarity with secrets management and environment configurations

Exposure to integration of DevOps tools (Jira, ticketing, scanning tools, etc.)

Other Requirements

Preferred / Good to Have

Exposure to GitHub (Repositories, Actions, basic usage) *(not mandatory)*Experience with self-hosted runners / build agents

Working knowledge of Docker / container-based builds

Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)Exposure to automation tools or GitHub CLI/APIs

Experience supporting migration or transformation projects Experience Required3–5 years experience in DevOps / Build & Release / Platform Engineering Exposure to CI/CD pipelines in enterprise or project environments
