Job Summary

The Senior Design Lead at HCL will be responsible for overseeing the Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) processes while demonstrating proficiency in CAD Design Skills, particularly using Creo software. The role will involve leading design initiatives, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring the efficient assembly of products.

Job Purpose:
As a Senior Design Lead specializing in CAD Software, you will oversee multiple design teams to establish and uphold organizational design standards. Your expertise will drive innovation in the design process, ensuring that all design efforts significantly contribute to achieving the company’s business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in shaping user-centric designs that enhance overall user experience while maintaining high-quality outputs.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Utilize Cad Software Expertise To Create And Refine Design Models, Ensuring Products Are Intuitive And User-Friendly, Thereby Contributing To Seamless User Experiences.
2. Lead And Mentor A Team Of Designers, Providing Guidance On Best Practices In Cad Applications And Ensuring The Delivery Of High-Quality Design Solutions Aligned With Business Goals.
3. Present Innovative Design Concepts To Stakeholders, Effectively Communicating The Design Vision And Strategy While Influencing Key Decisions On Product Development.
4. Research And Analyze Industry Trends And Emerging Technologies In Cad Software, Driving Innovation And Excellence In Design Practices Across Teams.

Skill Requirements: 1. Advanced Proficiency In Cad Software (E.G., Autocad, Solidworks), With A Strong Understanding Of 3D Modeling And Design Principles.
2. Solid Knowledge Of System And Equipment Design, With A Focus On Design For Manufacturing And Assembly (Dfma).
3. Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Articulate Design Concepts To Diverse Audiences.
4. Strong Leadership Skills, Demonstrating The Capability To Guide And Inspire Design Teams Towards Achieving High-Quality Results.

Other Requirements: 1. Optional But Valuable Certifications Include Autodesk Certified Professional, Solidworks Certification, Or Equivalent Credentials In Cad Design.
