Job Summary

Wacker is looking for a highly motivated and deeply experienced SAP Senior Test Analyst with** 10+ years of hands-on SAP module / functional testing experience** to set-up and drive the functional testing domain. This role is responsible for** designing, executing, and maintaining high‑quality (manual) test cases** across SAP end‑to‑end processes and modules.

He will act as the functional lead and subject matter expert, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, driving the establishment of a scalable regression test suite, and preparing test assets for futureautomation. The ideal candidate brings strong SAP process knowledge,leadership capability, and the motivation to proactively shape and advance the testing landscape in collaboration with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all functional SAP testing activities across modules and E2E processes

• Drive the structure, quality, and continuous improvement of the regression test suite

• Lead functional and regression testing activities across all modules

• Execute functional and regression tests and document clear, audit-ready evidence

• Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis, and cross-team alignment

• Prepare high-quality and automation-ready functional test cases

• Define testing standards, templates, and reusable assets

• Support the design of ‘automation-ready’ test cases

• Create and analyze business cases for automation use cases

• Collaborate with application module consultants and testing team across regions

• Proactively drives functional testing topics, ensuring transparency, progress, and quality

• Mentor junior test analysts in future expansion phases

Skill Requirements

• 10 years of SAP module / functional testing experience

• Familiarity with test automation concepts (e.g. Tosca Tricentis)

• Good knowledge of SAP PM and/or eWM is desirable

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience of regression test design, scenario frameworks, and test governance

• Ability to understand E2E processes and break them into structured test cases

• Experience in business case handling and stakeholder management

• Very good written and spoken English skills; German language skills are an advantage

• Experience in agile and classical project delivery models

• Knowledge and initial experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban or Azure DevOps

• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive testing initiatives E2E

• Excellent communication skills and team player with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines
