Job Summary

Job Title: Business Intelligence – ETL Developer Lead Experience: 10+ Years Location: Noida / Hyderabad Role Overview We are seeking an experienced BI ETL Developer Lead with 10+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and managing data integration and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will lead a team of ETL developers, ensure high-quality data pipelines, and support business intelligence solutions for enterprise analytics. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of ETL/ELT processes and data integration workflows Build, optimize, and maintain high-performance data pipelines for data warehousing and BI reporting Manage and mentor a team of ETL developers, ensuring best practices and coding standards Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate data requirements into technical solutions Design and maintain data models (Dimensional / Star / Snowflake schemas) Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems Perform performance tuning and optimization of ETL jobs and SQL queries Manage data extraction from multiple heterogeneous sources (databases, APIs, flat files, etc.) Support data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting Implement and enforce data governance and documentation standards Work with BI teams to enable reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions Drive automation and scheduling using job orchestration tools Participate in architecture discussions and solution design Required Skills & Qualifications Core ETL & BI Skills Hands-on experience in ETL tools such as: Informatica / Talend / Data Stage / SSIS / ADF (any leading tool) Strong expertise in: Data Warehousing concepts and architecture Data modeling (Dimensional modeling, Star/Snowflake schema) Extensive experience in building batch data pipelines Database & SQL Expertise Advanced proficiency in SQL Experience with databases such as: Teradata (preferred), Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Big Query Strong experience in query optimization and performance tuning Programming & Scripting Working knowledge of: Python / Shell scripting Understanding of automation and data processing frameworks Data Integration & Processing Experience handling: Large-scale data processing Data ingestion, transformation, and validation Familiarity with data quality frameworks and reconciliation techniques Tools & Technologies Version control: Git / Bitbucket Job scheduling tools: Control-M / Autosys / Airflow Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP) – preferred Leadership & Management Skills Experience in leading and managing ETL/BI teams Ability to drive delivery within timelines and quality standards Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination Experience in conducting code reviews and technical mentoring Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

Education:

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Teradata-based environments (strong advantage based on your org context)

Experience with cloud-based ETL (ADF, Glue, etc.)

Knowledge of big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus
