About the role
Job Summary
Job Title: Deskside / Build Engineer – M365 Migration (Offshore – Chennai)Provide** L2 deskside and remote support** for Microsoft Teams tenant-to-tenant migration project Perform** device build, rebuild, and configuration** aligned to target tenant standards Execute** Azure AD Join / Re-join** and Intune enrollment for end-user devices Conduct** pre-migration readiness checks**(device compliance, Office apps, security posture)Support** user profile migration** including Outlook, One Drive, and Teams setup Ensure successful** Teams access post-migration**(channels, chats, files, meetings)Troubleshoot Teams client, One Drive sync, Office activation, and login issues
Assist in cutover activities** during migration waves with minimum user disruption Provide** hypercare support** for post-migration issue resolution Coordinate with** SMEs, infra teams, and service desk** for escalations Maintain** device and user migration tracking reports
Support application validation and reconfiguration** post migration Ensure compliance with** endpoint security and corporate policies
Document known issues, resolutions, and support procedures
Provide end-user guidance and quick fixes** during migration Monitor and resolve** sync, authentication, and connectivity issues
Support bulk device readiness activities** as per migration schedule Participate in** daily migration calls and status reporting
