• Job Title: Senior SCCM/MECM Engineer
• Imaging & OSD (L2)\\r\\n\\r\\n Job Summary\\r\\n The L2 SCCM Imaging Engineer is responsible for the design, maintenance, and deployment of operating system images and software across the enterprise environment. This role focuses on automating workstation builds (Windows 10/11), troubleshooting deployment failures, managing drivers, and ensuring client health, escalated from L1 support.\\r\\n Key Responsibilities\\r\\n• Operating System Deployment (OSD): Create, maintain, and troubleshoot OSD Task Sequences for Bare Metal, Refresh, and Replace scenarios using SCCM/MECM.\\r\\n• Image Management: Build, capture, and update \\\"Gold Images\\\" (WIM files) with the latest Windows updates, security patches, and core applications.\\r\\n• Driver Management: Import, test, and manage hardware drivers for various laptop/desktop models (Dell, HP, Lenovo) to ensure successful imaging.\\r\\n• Troubleshooting & Escalation: Analyze SCCM client-side (smsts.log, CAS.log, WUAHandler.log) and server-side logs to resolve OSD task sequence failures, PXE boot issues, and application deployment errors.\\r\\n• Task Sequence Customization: Utilize MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit) integration for advanced task sequence functionality.\\r\\n• Software Updates: Deploy monthly security patches and software updates to workstation collections.\\r\\n• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for imaging processes.\\r\\n Required Technical Skills\\r\\n• Core SCCM/MECM: 3+ years of experience in OSD, Task Sequences, Software Distribution, and Asset Intelligence.\\r\\n• Windows OS: Expert knowledge of Windows 10/11 deployment, troubleshooting, and configuration.\\r\\n• Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell for automating image maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.\\r\\n• Infrastructure: Understanding of PXE boot, WDS (Windows Deployment Services), DHCP, and DNS configuration.\\r\\n• Co-Management: Experience with Intune and Co-management (preferred).\\r\\n Qualifications\\r\\n• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.\\r\\n• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-101: Mobility and Security) are a plus.\\r\\n• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
