OTA Test Engineer

Job Summary

Test types:

• TRP/TIS/EiRP/EIS testing

• Passive antenna efficiency and antenna pattern testing

• Conducted power/sensitivity testing

Test protocols:

• LTE / NBIoT NTN / NR Red Cap

• BT BR / BT EDR2

• Wi Fi 2.4 / 5 GHz

• AGPS L1 w/LTE

• Generally using test procedures specified in the CTIA OTA test plan.

OTA systems: R&S OTA chamber, MVG Satimo OTA chambers

RF test equipment: VNA, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, Keysight UXM-R, R&S CMW500, Anritsu 8820C

Controlling/configuring devices using Qualcomm chipsets using* Qualcomm tools.*

Key Responsibilities

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Proficiency In Test/Interface And Uc Board Bringup Methodologies.

2. Strong Understanding Of Pcb Design Tools And Best Practices In Validation And Verification Processes.

3. Solid Experience In Conducting Code Reviews And Implementing Quality Assurance Processes.

4. In-Depth Knowledge Of Project Management Principles And Stakeholder Engagement Strategies.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Test Engineer (Cte), Certified Software Quality Analyst (Csqa), Or Equivalent Industry-Recognized Certifications In Software Testing And Validation Methodologies.
