Assignment Objective
The objective of the Senior Scrum Master assignment is to enable high‑performing, self‑organising teams and ensure predictable delivery of business value within a complex Sales & Marketing environment. The role focuses on facilitation, servant leadership, and continuous improvement of ways of working.
Scope of Work:
The Senior Scrum Master shall be responsible for the following areas:
Agile Delivery and Ways of Working:
Plan and facilitate Scrum ceremonies with a clear focus on outcomes, sprint goals, and decision‑making.
Ensure transparency through relevant agile artefacts that accurately reflect progress, risks, and impediments.
Drive continuous improvement by ensuring retrospectives result in concrete, followed‑up actions.
Flow, Impediments, and Dependencies
Proactively identify, manage, and escalate impediments affecting team delivery.
Actively manage dependencies and risks across teams, functions, and stakeholders.
Safeguard team focus by mitigating unplanned scope changes and conflicting priorities during iterations.
Promote sustainable and predictable delivery over time.
Product Owner and Stakeholder Support:
Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement, prioritisation, and planning.
Ensure backlog items are sufficiently defined to enable effective estimation and delivery.
Facilitate effective collaboration between team and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and expectations.
Team Development and Agile Maturity:
Foster psychological safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
Observe and address team dynamics impacting delivery capability and performance.
Coach the team beyond formal ceremonies to strengthen agile maturity and self‑leadership.
Organisational Interaction
Communicate delivery status, risks, trends, and dependencies in a clear, concise, and fact‑based manner.
Represent the team’s perspective in relevant coordination and decision‑making forums.
Support cross‑team and cross‑functional collaboration through facilitation and influence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage project teams in the successful execution of projects using agile methodologies.

Act as a scrum master, facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Implement change management processes to address any scope changes or project deviations.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile best practices within the project team.

Report project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
Skill Requirements

Proficient in agile methodologies and experienced in acting as a scrum master.

Solid understanding of project management and change management principles.

Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide project teams towards successful project delivery.

Other Requirements
1.Agile or Scrum Master certification is preferred.
