Senior Consultant - SAP ABAP

Job Summary

5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development with focus on Finance module

Strong Experience in S/4HANA or modern ABAP development (CDS Views, AMDP, OData, RAP) is expected

Good experience in core ABAP concepts: Reports, ALV, Enhancements (User Exits/BAd Is), Smart Forms/SAP Scripts is also required

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor or similar tools) is an advantage

Good understanding of Finance module processes and terminologies

Strong exposure to integration technologies: IDocs, BAPIs, Web Services

Proven experience in debugging and performance tuning.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

Understanding of clean code practices and modern development approaches.

Experience working in projects with high interface volume and complex integrations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Ability to balance support and project work in a fast-paced environment.

Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop And Deliver Detailed Sap Abap Solutions Through Consulting Project Activities, Ensuring Alignment With Client Requirements And Business Objectives.

2. Perform Qualitative And Quantitative Analyses Using Abap To Assist In Identifying Client Issues And Developing Client-Specific Solutions.

3. Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams In Implementing Sap Solutions, Ensuring Quality And Adherence To Best Practices Throughout The Project Lifecycle.

4. Serve As A Subject Matter Expert In Sap Abap, Providing Technical Guidance And Mentorship To Team Members While Promoting Best Practices In Development.

5. Design And Structure Reports And Presentations Tailored To The Audience'S Characteristics And Needs, Effectively Communicating Complex Sap Concepts And Project Outcomes.

6. Enhance The Knowledge Base By Staying Updated On Industry Best Practices, Emerging Trends In Sap Technologies, And Creating Reusable Components For Improved Efficiency.
