About the role
Job Summary
-
Proficient in managing Citrix Xen App and Xen Desktop 6.x & 7.x solutions.

Good Understanding of Citrix Provisioning Services PVS.
-
How to install and upgrade PVS Servers, what is PVS boot process, and what services are required for PVS boot.

Citrix Provisioning: How to update a v Disk – Versioning Method.
-
Good working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and WINS
-
Must have an extensive working experience with Citrix Provisioning Services 6.x & 7.x (PVS or MCS) in a VDI environment.
-
Working experience with VDI solutions in multi-domain Active directory forest environment.
-
Configuring and Managing Citrix Storefronts.

Assigning & allocation of VDI to end users as per requirement

Should be well verse with troubleshooting
-
Working with Hyper V - Windows Patch Management in VDI environment.
-
Managing Net Scaler products(Basic knowledge of Citrix Netscaler)
-
Citrix Product upgradation and Migration tasks including hotfix management.
-
MS Patches deployment using WSUS or Big Fix or SCCM.
-
Problem and Change Management (Service Now) and SLAs
-
Must have experience in creating and maintaining SOPs to run offshore operations.

Person should be working as an Individual Contributor helping the team to setup Citrix Environment with Best Practices.
Key Responsibilities
-
Experience in handling Escalated issues including coordination with multiple teams and vendor.
-
(1.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
-
(2.) To provide support for on call escalations and doing incident & problem management
-
(3.) To independently resolve tickets & esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team
-
(4.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions / Reopen Cases
Skill Requirements
-
8+ Years of experience in Citrix Administration with both Xen App and Xen Desktop with multiple sites and farms.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related discipline
-
Open with 24/7 shift and good communication skills.
-
Coming from a Strong Troubleshooting background.
