Senior Test Lead

Job Summary

• Functional knowledge in banking (ideally with exposure to core banking platforms)

• Hands-on testing experience and ready to learn , adapt and get on the ground running quickly.

• Experience in working with teams across locations and teams.

• Experience with testing tools – Test Master /ATS, Jira etc.

• Good to have is experience in testing in Agile projects.

• Good communication skills.

• Understand and translate requirements to test scenarios and test cases

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to analyze complex technical problems

• Experience in test automation, manual and automated test execution using Test Master, ATS, Jira or other testing tools.

• Testing expereince in Credit/Payment/PFM/Tax/Cost and fees/STEX/Compliance/Accountancy or any other Avaloq modules.

• Strong knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle

• Knowledge in Test case writing, Test Scripting, and Test Execution

• Understand requirements and develop/update test cases

• Participate in necessary discussion and provide required support to Test Lead on need basis

• Report on test execution status, and any issues and risks affecting testing

• Report the status to team lead and manager

• Record defects and coordinate with development team for closure

• Knowledge on defect tracking tool

• Knowledge on Banking domain is a plus

Key Responsibilities

1. To participate in functional as well as technical discussions with the client /team to understand functional /design specifications ,highlight performance concerns, inconsistencies ,ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place/kept upto date.

2. To Identify opportunities for process improvement in testing methodologies /tools and Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.

3. To oversee the creation and execution of automated test scripts ensuring consistency and alignment with quality standards to minimize exposure.

4. To develop/guide and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework , enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
