Role Summary –\r\n An experienced Azure Cloud & DevOps professional with strong expertise in automation, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, security, and container platforms. The role focuses on designing, operating, and optimizing cloud-native environments while enabling fast, secure, and reliable software delivery aligned with DevOps and Agile principles.\r\n Key strengths include:\r\n\r\n Azure cloud administration and solution expertise, backed by Microsoft Cloud certifications\r\n Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, PowerShell, and Go\r\n Deep hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control\r\n End-to-end Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management\r\n Production-grade monitoring, logging, and performance tuning\r\n Secure-by-design cloud implementations following Zero Trust and modern security standards\r\n Containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes/Open Shift\r\n Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
Key Responsibilities
\r\n \r\n Cloud Platform: Azure\r\n \r\n Preferred Certification: Microsoft Cloud Admin or Solution Expert certification level.\r\n \r\n Scripting:\r\n Bash, Python, PowerShell, Go: Proficiency in scripting languages for automating routine tasks and integrations.\r\n \r\n Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)\r\n• GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, Travis CI: Deep knowledge of automating build, testing, and deployment pipelines.\r\n• Version Control: Strong experience with Git and version control strategies (branching, merging, etc.).\r\n \r\n Collaboration & Issue Tracking: JIRA, Confluence for coordinating between teams.\r\n \r\n Monitoring, Logging, and Performance Tuning\r\n• Grafana, Datadog: Skills in monitoring systems\' performance and logs to ensure uptime and identify performance bottlenecks.\r\n \r\n Networking & Security\r\n• Networking Concepts: Knowledge in TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancing, and firewalls.\r\n• Security Best Practices: Implementing security in DevOps (e.g., IAM policies, network security, vulnerability scanning, encryption).\r\n• Zero Trust, OAuth, OpenID, TLS/SSL: Experience with modern security protocols and practices.\r\n \r\n Agile Methodologies\r\n• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban for iterative and efficient software delivery.\r\n• Expertise in managing teams and processes aligned with DevOps principles.\r\n \r\n Infrastructure as Code (IaC)\r\n• Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM): Experience with IaC tools to automate infrastructure provisioning.\r\n• Ansible, Puppet, Chef: Configuration management tools for maintaining and deploying infrastructure.\r\n \r\n Containers and Orchestration\r\n• Docker: Knowledge in containerization of applications and services.\r\n• Kubernetes, Open Shift: Skills in container orchestration, deployment, and management of large-scale, containerized applications.\r\n \r\n Soft Skills:\r\n• Language: English (Fluent) Desirable: Second European Language (preferred)\r\n• Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills with people at all levels across the organisation.\r\n• The ability to translate business requirements into viable technical solutions\r\n• Good stakeholder management skills (all directions). Able to describe and push new concepts.\r\n
