Design Lead - Sheet Metal, DFMA, Creo

Job Summary

The Design Lead will be responsible for overseeing Suspension Design (Chassis Components), Design for Manufacture & Assembly (DFMA), and utilizing Creo/Pro-E. The primary focus will be on working as Senior Engineer & leading the design team and ensuring efficient and effective design processes to meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work as Lead Engineer for Suspension Design and manage the design team in creating innovative and efficient sheet metal designs.

2. Implement design for manufacture & assembly (dfma) principles to optimize production processes.

3. Utilize creo/pro-e software for design tasks and ensure accuracy and quality of designs.

4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure design alignment with project requirements.

5. Conduct design reviews, provide feedback, and implement improvements as necessary.

6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in sheet metal design and dfma practices.

7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and efficiencies.

8. Experience in Commercial Vehicle domain to be preferred
