Senior Tester - Software Testing, Appium, Microsoft UI Automation

Job Summary

As a Senior Tester specializing in Software Testing, Mobile Appium, and UI automation, you will be responsible for leading testing activities, ensuring the quality of software products, and implementing robust testing strategies. Your primary goal will be to identify and address software defects, improve overall product quality, and optimize the software testing process.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scripts for software applications, mobile apps, using appium for mobile testing and ui automation tools for web applications.

2. Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on design for testability.

3. Lead and mentor junior testers, providing guidance on best practices and testing methodologies.

4. Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure software meets quality standards and requirements.

5. Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, working closely with developers to resolve them.

6. Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test procedures, and test reports.

7. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software testing and quality assurance.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong expertise in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

2. Proficiency in mobile app testing, specifically using appium for mobile automation.

3. Experience with ui automation testing tools for web applications.

4. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

5. Solid understanding of agile methodologies and sdlc.

6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross functional teams.

7. Strong communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly.

8. Certification in software testing (e.g., istqb) is a plus.
