Job Summary
Workday Techno Functional Consultant Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Workday
-
Preferred: Workday Functional Certifications; Workday Pro certification in one or multiple HCM modules
-
Provides Workday subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development including business process configuration, data upload (EIB), testing and other troubleshooting support – specifically for Core HR, Compensation core and advanced Compensation, Talent Management, Time & Absence
-
Experience in leading the requirements and discovery session with POCs and present them to HR and technical leaders
-
Develops and drives innovative and proactive change efforts for HR process improvements, including enhancements to end user experience
-
Participates in deployment of new businesses: map current processes and data, identify gaps with Workday processes, recommend changes, define requirements, configure, test and validate changes
-
Assists with bi-annual releases, including analysis of impacts of new functionality, testing of integrations and cross functional up and downstream analysis
-
Configure Workday security, including user roles and permissions, data access policies, and integration user accounts
-
Provide fixes for Incidents, Service requests and minor enhancements.

Experience in troubleshooting integration issues, and work with stakeholders for building and troubleshooting integrations, Reports and calculated fields

Experience in a support environment, using ticketing system to prioritize, manage, communicate, and resolve issues.

Experience in understanding and gathering the business requirements, translating them into Functional specifications
-
Keep abreast of new Workday features and functionality, and make recommendations on how to leverage them to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Collaborate with IT and HR teams to resolve cross-functional issues related to Workday

To architect| design and develop solution for product / project and sustenance delivery

To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology.

To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated.

To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements.
