Job Summary

The Senior Technical Lead is responsible for leading technical teams and overseeing SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) projects. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing SSAS solutions, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. The Senior Technical Lead will also be involved in providing technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders while ensuring adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead technical teams in the design, development, and implementation of sql server analysis services (ssas) projects.

2. Ensure ssas solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.

3. Provide expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing ssas solutions.

4. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.

5. Mentor and coach junior team members on ssas best practices and technologies.

6. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in ssas and recommend improvements to existing processes.

7. Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in sql server analysis services (ssas) including multidimensional and tabular models.

2. Strong experience in sql server integration services (ssis) and sql server reporting services (ssrs).

3. Excellent understanding of data warehousing concepts and etl processes.

4. Advanced knowledge of tsql and optimization techniques.

5. Ability to design and implement complex ssas cubes and data mining models.

6. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
