Engineer (Support & Operations)

Job Summary

The associate will be responsible for L2 operations and support of the Cohesity Backup and Recovery platform within the DFS environment, ensuring consistent and reliable backup, restore, replication, and data retention services for supported systems. The role includes proactive monitoring of backup jobs, analysis and resolution of backup failures, execution of restore requests, support for capacity and performance management, and participation in upgrade and maintenance activities as per approved standards. The associate will work closely with infrastructure, application, and security teams to meet contractual SLAs, ensure compliance with customer data protection requirements, maintain operational documentation and SOPs, and follow HCL governance, ITSM, and change management processes with clear ownership and timely communication.
