Job Summary

SAP SAC (Analytics Cloud) Consultant in an AMS (Application Management Service) role focuses on supporting, maintaining, and enhancing SAP analytics applications in live production environments.

The SAC AMS Consultant will provide specialized support for SAP Analytics Cloud planning and reporting, ensuring data accuracy and system performance, troubleshooting incidents, and implementing enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Support (AMS): Serve as the primary contact for SAC application issues, performing incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and bug fixes.

• SAC Modeling & Development: Create and optimize SAC models, stories, dashboards, and analytical applications.

• Data Integration: Maintain and troubleshoot data connections from SAP and non-SAP sources (e.g., BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, Datasphere).

• Planning Support: Support and enhance SAC Planning models, including data actions, allocations, and forecasting scenarios.

• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain documentation for processes and system configurations.

Skill Requirements

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAC Analytical Applications and Advanced Formulas.

• Knowledge of Javascript or CSS for customized SAC dashboards.

• Understanding of financial planning processes.

• SAP Certified: SAC Application Associate or Planning.

Other Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3–7 years of SAP experience, with at least 2–3 years focused on SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in SAC planning, data modeling, and visualization.

• Backend Knowledge: Experience with SAP BW, SAP BW/4HANA, or SAP HANA Native views.

• AMS Experience: Previous experience in Application Management Services (Support) is highly desirable.
