Senior Selenium Automation Tester - Cucumber, Java

Job Summary

QA Test Engineer with 5–7 years of solid experience in both manual and automation testing. Proven ability to design, develop, and implement robust test frameworks and accelerate delivery cycles. Skilled in identifying and resolving complex issues, improving test coverage, and ensuring seamless user experiences. A fast learner and proactive team player, consistently contributing to cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will involve collaborating within teams to identify test requirements, create test cases, and implement automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Experience of at least 5-7 years in manual and automation testing of Web applications.
Knowledge of web technology – web protocols, web servers and web applications.
Experience with automation Selenium, Playwright, etc. with knowledge in SQL, Java or any language.
Basic knowledge with DevOps Technologies – Git (version control), Jenkins (continuous integration), Docker (containerization), Kubernetes (container orchestration), Ansible and Platform like AWS/GCP/Azure, Linux
Knowledge of Web Services testing – SOAP and REST.
Documents include Test cases, Test Plan, Matrix.
Ability to provide estimation for QA work.
Knowledge of at least one defect tracking system like JIRA

Knowledge of Cucumber BDD Framework and Gherkin language.

Knowledge of Cloud services, Devops set of knowledge is preferable
