Track Manager - F5, Infoblox IPAM

Job Summary

This role is accountable for managing network operations within large and complex environments, focusing on ensuring service reliability, optimizing operational processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The individual empowers support teams, delivers solutions aligned to client needs, and leverages expertise in F5 and DDI technologies to enhance organizational performance.

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer with strong experience in F5 Load Balancers (LTM/GTM) and Infoblox IPAM (DDI - DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management). The role involves managing enterprise traffic distribution, DNS/DHCP services, and IP address planning while ensuring high availability, security, and performance of critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead operations management by optimizing processes for F5 load balancers and DDI platforms (Infoblox/Efficient IP), ensuring efficient delivery of network services.
2. Oversee incident, problem, and change management using F5 and DDI toolsets, ensuring adherence to client SLAs and minimizing service disruptions.
3. Analyze and refine network data flows by leveraging F5 traffic management and DDI solutions, driving performance improvements and process innovations.
4. Mentor and guide support teams in the administration, troubleshooting, and enhancement of F5 and DDI environments, fostering technical excellence and growth.
5. Engage with clients to understand technical requirements and translate them into actionable operational plans using F5 and DDI technologies.
6. Implement and advocate best practices for network security, availability, and compliance using F5 and DDI platforms, contributing to organizational progress and innovation.
7. Deliver management reporting and operational insights using data extracted from F5 and Infoblox/Efficient IP systems to support decision-making and service improvements.

**F5 Load Balancing (LTM / GTM) • Configure, deploy, and manage F5 BIG-IP platforms (LTM, GTM/DNS).

• Implement:** o Virtual servers, pools, i Rules, monitors o SSL offloading and certificate management • Design and manage application load balancing and traffic routing.
• Maintain high availability configurations (Active/Standby, Sync-Failover).
• Troubleshoot issues related to: o Application performance o Persistence, SSL, and traffic flow • Implement advanced features like: o Global DNS load balancing o DNS-based failover and geo-routing • Work with application teams for onboarding and optimization. Infoblox IPAM (DDI – DNS, DHCP, IPAM) • Administer and manage Infoblox DDI environment (NIOS / Grid architecture).
• Perform: o IP address management (IP allocation, subnetting, tracking) o DNS zone configuration (forward/reverse zones, records) o DHCP scope and lease management • Configure and manage: o Grid Master and Grid Members o High Availability (HA), failover, and redundancy setups • Execute: o Network additions/deletions and IP updates o Network discovery and device onboarding • Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and IPAM-related issues.
• Generate custom reports and analytics for IP utilization and capacity. Integration & Automation • Work on Infoblox APIs (WAPI) for integration with external tools.
• Support integration with: o Service Now or ITSM tools o Monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk) • Automate DNS/IPAM provisioning and reporting where applicable. Operations & Support • Provide L2/L3 support for F5 and Infoblox environments.
• Perform: o Incident management and root cause analysis o Change implementation and validation • Monitor service health and ensure uptime of critical services.
• Coordinate with vendors (F5/Infoblox TAC) for issue resolution.
• Maintain detailed documentation: o Network diagrams o IP schemas o SOPs and runbooks Security & Compliance • Implement DNS and traffic security controls (DNSSEC, RPZ, ACLs).
• Ensure secure traffic handling through F5 policies and SSL configurations.
• Maintain compliance with enterprise security and audit requirements.

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent Knowledge Of Ddi (Dns, Dhcp, Ipam) Platforms, Specifically Infoblox And/Or Efficient Ip.
2. Advanced Skills In Network Data Analysis And Optimization Using F5 And Ddi Tools.
3. Strong Understanding Of Network Security, High Availability, And Disaster Recovery Strategies Within F5/Ddi Environments.
4. Excellent Analytical, Problem Solving, And Mentoring Abilities In Large Scale Network Operations.
5. Solid Experience With Itsm Processes And Incident, Problem, And Change Management In Network Support Contexts.
6. Advanced Proficiency In Reporting And Dashboard Creation Using Operational Data From F5 And Infoblox/Efficient Ip.
