About the role
Job Summary
The role should have a very strong background in the Linux OS and building systems in an enterprise.
Principal Technical Responsibilities:
- A strong background working with the Red Hat Linux Operating System:
Must know the various aspects of the build process
Operating System installation and configuration
Networking – kickstart, bootparams, interface and routing table configuration
Storage technology – Multipathing/Internal disks/SAN and NAS – LVM etc. etc.
YUM/DNF server configuration and RPM management User and Application Support
Creation and management of user accounts

Automation Experience automating infrastructure and software deployments with the following technologies:

Ansible and/or Ansible Tower for configuration management

Git for CVS:
- Strong Bash for scripting and integrating different systems
Cloud Experience - knowledge of the AWS cloud and virtualization technologies and patterns
Ec2/EBS/Auto-scaling, load balancing, working with immutable images, building/rebuilding infrastructure
Production Support Participating in on on-call rotation Dealing with incidents,Capacity Planning
