Job Summary
In this role as Design Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) processes, utilizing CAD Design Skills, particularly Creo software. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient and effective product design and development.

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.

Good experience in Mechanical design, build activity.
-
Independent and enthusiastic designer with original concepts.

At least 7 to 9 years of experience in design of mechanical parts, semiconductor or machine tool industry, working with vacuum and clean room environments are added advantage.

Experience in Sheet-metal design
-
Experience in Cable duct design to secure signal, power, Ether cat cables and Gas/water/CDA tubes.

Experience on Electrical Rack, Electrical Chassis and Power distribution box designing for Variable frequency machines.

Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.

Hands on experience in Autodesk inventor, NX, and Creo, part modeling and detailing, Core+.

Good Knowledge in OEM Component selections.

Ability to read and understand various complex drawings.
-
Good Knowledge in GD & T, Tolerance Stack up, ASME Drawing Standards.

Able to perform a variety of tasks from CAD to detailing and documentation with minimal supervision.

Good in various industrial Manufacturing process and Welding Knowledge.

Good in Material Selection.

Prepare and present engineering solution to the management.

Ability to design and investigate different engineering options and analyze the best solution based on a variety of considerations.

Worked on new product development, involved in the product design life cycle from the concept and feasibility phase to prototype development to hand off to high volume manufacturing.

Excellent communicator can present his/her ideas clearly and can explain the approach to the solution of a technical problem succinctly.

Fast learner, open to new ideas.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design for manufacturing & assembly (dfma) initiatives within the organization

Utilize cad design skills to create detailed product designs and engineering drawings

Implement and optimize design processes to enhance manufacturing efficiency

Collaborate with cross functional teams to support product development from concept to production

Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to team members
-
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement through dfma analysis
-
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cad design and engineering software
Skill Requirements
- Proficiency in design for manufacturing & assembly (dfma) principles and methodologies
- Strong cad design skills with expertise in creo software
- Solid understanding of product design, engineering, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Strong Mechanical Design Engineer/SPM designer, SEMI equipment designer with technically sound and expert in CAD Tool like Unigraphics/Team center, also strong in mechanical basics, GD&T
Other Requirements
1.Relevant certifications in CAD design and Design for Manufacturing & Assembly are a plus.
