Job Summary

We are seeking a QA/Tester with strong experience in both manual and automation testing to ensure application quality, reliability, and compliance with business requirements. The role involves defining test strategies, executing functional and non-functional test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with development and business teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Skills

• Manual testing across functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance scenarios

• Automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks

• Test case design, test planning, and defect lifecycle management

• API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or equivalent tools

• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile testing processes

• Test management tools such as Azure Test Plans, Jira, or Quality Center

• Database validation and SQL query execution for backend verification

• Strong analytical and defect isolation skills

Skill Requirements

Secondary Skills

• Performance and load testing exposure using JMeter or Load Runner

• Basic scripting/programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#

• Knowledge of CI/CD-integrated test automation practices

• Exposure to security testing and accessibility validation

• Experience with test reporting dashboards and quality metrics

• Domain knowledge in enterprise applications, web, mobile, or cloud platforms

Other Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases

• Execute manual and automated test cases and record test outcomes accurately

• Identify, log, track, and retest defects in collaboration with development teams

• Validate functional, integration, regression, and API-level behavior

• Support release validation and ensure quality gates are met before production deployment

• Prepare test summary reports and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
