About the role
Job Summary
As the Group Lead Architect for Data & Integration, you are the primary designer of the enterprise’s "Intelligence Fabric." Your mission is to break down regional silos across 10+ markets and replace them with a unified, real-time data and integration ecosystem. You will move the organization away from legacy point-to-point connections and toward a Metadata-Driven, API-first architecture that fuels digital channel, Agent assisted and autonomous** Agentic AI** workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Key Focus Areas Unified Interoperability Framework: Design the standards for how data moves (Integration) and where it lives (Data). You will champion the "Clean Core" strategy, ensuring that core insurance systems are decoupled from digital front-ends via a robust API(canonical models) and ODS layer. AI-Native Data Foundation: Architect the transition from traditional BI to a Modern Lakehouse (Databricks/BigQuery). This foundation must support structured reporting while providing "Long-term Memory" (Vector/Graph) for autonomous AI agents. Cross-Application Liquidity: Design the Operational Data Store (ODS) and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) to ensure th
Skill Requirements
Education & Experience Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Professional certifications such as TOGAF, CDMP (Data Management), or Cloud Architect certifications (GCP/Azure) are highly preferred. Experience: 18+ years in Enterprise Architecture, with at least 5 years leading large-scale Digital Transformation programs in a multi-national environment and multiple markets in Asia. Insurance Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Life and Health Insurance value chain (Underwriting, Policy Admin, Claims). Familiarity with industry standards like ACORD is a significant advantage. Tech Stack Expertise: All 3 should be handson and experience in recent projects done. Data: Lakehouse Architecture (Databricks), BigQuery, SQL/NoSQL, Vector DBs. Integration: REST/GraphQL, Microservices, Kafka/Event-mesh, MCP. Architecture: MACH principles, Clean Core, Domain-Driven Design (DDD). Core Competencies Strategic Influence: Ability to align C-suite executives and local CTOs behind a single architectural vision. Pragmatic Innovation: Knowing when to use cutting-edge tech (like Multi-Agent Orchestration) versus when to stick to proven, stable patterns for core reliability.
