Job Summary

• Justification ALM and Auto Support
• This position is expected to be an experienced JIRA and Confluence Specialist to join team and support our Products. This role will own the end-to-end responsibilities of Atlassian suite of applications, including JIRA/Confluence and Codebeamer, associated plugins and projects. The candidate would be responsible for below mentioned areas during IST core business hours.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Should understand current JIRA/Confluence and Codebeamer environment, custom plugins and integrations on the system.
• Compare, Analyze and review different configurations and schemes in JIRA instances and resolve conflict for migration from source to target instance
• Should involve in migrations from one JIRA/Confluence application to another using CMJ/JCMA/CCMA plugin as applicable based on Cloud or Datacenter environment · Come up with various test cases for migration execution and validations
• Should involve in Custom plugin and Scripts development to help in migration activity.
• Should involve in administering and supporting JIRA, Confluence and Codebeamer.
• Export and Import Configurations from Source to Target JIRA/Confluence instance for migration.
• Validate the migration activity using scripts · Automate any regular process where applicable · Initial triage and troubleshooting of migration issues (Tier1/Tier 2) - Should prepare and publish the various documentation related to migration activity like migration approach and planning documents and execute user communications
• Follow agile Scrum Methodology
• Exposed to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile-Scrum application development methodology and align with all team processes.
• Should coordinate with functional teams for the seamless project execution
• Should provide day-to-day project progress to management as requested · Work with Atlassian vendor/consultant for the migration activity.
• Strong Automation background using Python, Perl, Go and exposure to Linux in the areas of administration, troubleshooting and scripting.
• Must be well versed with Codebeamer containerization for custom environments and Codebeamer clustering concepts.
• Must be able to understand, adapt, modify/improvise existing JQL scripts and write new JQL scripts according to the project needs.
• Should be able to develop metrics, dashboards, and advanced filters in Jira to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports.
• Should be able to work on automating the infrastructure using DevOps tools like Chef, Ansible or Docker.
• Should have ability to develop scripts, triggers, APIs for integration of applications. · Should conduct thorough analysis, triage, troubleshooting, design, optimization & implement performance enhancements to the customers infra.
• Understand the infrastructure, partner with internal teams, and infuse necessary changes as per any new demands or upon customer’s request with due process compliance.

Skill Requirements

Skills/Experience:

• 5 to 7 years of relative experience
• Experience in configuration, migration/merger administration of bug tracking and project management tools like JIRA, Fisheye/Crucible, Confluence etc. and relevant experience in system analysis.
• Experience in application support and maintenance.
• Should have excellent analytical capabilities.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and show willingness to learn and adapt to changing business requirements
• Being a customer facing role the candidate must have good communication skills (Written and Verbal)

Other Requirements

Educational Requirements:

• Master's/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent stream.
