SAP FICO Product Specialist

Job Summary

The Product Specialist for SAP FICO Foundation is responsible for managing and optimizing the SAP FICO module within the organization. The role involves ensuring the smooth functioning of financial and accounting processes through SAP FICO, providing support, and driving continuous improvement in financial operations.

Seeking an experienced SAP FICO Technical Specialist to support and enhance SAP Finance solutions, ensuring efficient financial processes, compliance, and system optimization across ECC/S4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and maintain the sap fico module, including configuration, system enhancements, and upgrades.
2. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to understand business requirements and provide solutions using sap fico.
3. Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of sap fico functionalities to resolve issues and enhance performance.
4. Implement best practices in financial processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
5. Train end-users on sap fico functionality and provide ongoing support and guidance.
6. Participate in system integration projects and contribute to the overall enhancement of financial systems.
7. Stay updated on sap fico trends and advancements to recommend innovative solutions for business improvement.

Support SAP FICO modules(GL, AP, AR, AA, CO) with configuration and enhancements Perform issue resolution, debugging, and root cause analysis

Collaborate with functional teams for requirement analysis and solution design

Develop and support reports, interfaces, and enhancements

Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, and compliance

Support month-end/year-end financial closing activities

Skill Requirements

1. Strong proficiency in sap fico module configuration and customization.
2. Knowledge of financial and accounting principles with the ability to translate them into sap fico solutions.
3. Experience in system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting within sap fico environment.
4. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams and deliver training to end-users.
5. Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identify and address issues in sap fico system.
6. Analytical mindset to evaluate financial processes and propose system enhancements using sap fico.

Strong experience in SAP FICO configuration and support

Knowledge of FI & CO processes and integration with MM/SD

Basic exposure to ABAP/debugging

Experience in ECC / S4HANA environments

Other Requirements

1.Certification in SAP FICO module is preferred.
