Job Summary

Professional Architect SDWAN:

Perform due-diligence of existing WAN Connectivity – MPLS, P2P & Internet connectivity.

Create high level and low level design for migration from MPLS/P2P based WAN to SDWAN solution based on Velocloud.

Overall SDWAN Architecture design and road map.

Design and implementation of SDWAN policies for various site types and topologies.

Support SASE implementation and design in conjunction with SDWAN roll out.

Design and implement Cloud connectivity for SDWAN.

Evaluate alternative Network technologies and architectures in relation emerging infrastructure needs. Interface with management and vendors to develop and implement new solutions to meet business requirements.

Perform analytical, technical, cost analysis and CAPEX development work in the planning, design, installation and on-going administration and management core data networks.

Ensure that network infrastructure is fully documented and performing as required for internal and customer SLA guarantees and expectations by means of specific metrics and measurements.

Provide technical insight and input to key project management activities. Negotiate with key stakeholders including prioritization of projects and resources

Provide technical design assurance for new projects, operational change and enhancements. Provide direction and take design ownership for network elements of the infrastructure architecture.

Required Skills:

Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Enterprise WAN solutions such as MPLS, P2P,Internet solutions, VPN Setup.

Design and deployment knowledge of SDWAN solution for large scale network using Velocloud SDWAN solution.

Demonstrated in-depth Design, Implement and Operational knowledge of Enterprise Data Centre Networks.

Thorough understanding of modern enterprise TCP/IP data networks using standards and technologies including but not limited to: OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, BGP4, MPLS, STP, RSTP, 802.1q, 802.1ah

Superior knowledge, skills and experience with Cisco routing hardware, software, protocols etc.

Knowledge and implementation of complex WAN backbone solution using BGP & MPLS.

Design and deployment of Multi-cloud connectivity solutions like Eqiuinix fabric.

Design and deployment of SASE solutions like Zscaler, Cisco Umbrella etc.

Expertise of Internet CE routing, handling ISP, registries.

Have a minimum of 15-18 years’ experience designing, developing, configuring, and implementing large scale global enterprise networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors.

Ability to work alone as an individual contributor, as a technical lead and as a participant in a team environment.

Experience to prepare Bill of Material, Migration approach, ramp up plan and effort estimation (transformation and transition) based on the inputs received as part of RFPs.

Have excellent communication skills with a proven track record of presenting at the most senior levels within the enterprise and the network industry.

CCIE Routing and Switching and ‘CCIE Data Center’ certification or CCDE certification is preferred or equivalent experience
