Job Summary

Job Responsibilities: Open Shift Virtualization: Install, maintain, and operate Open Shift Virtualization environments. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve Open Shift-related issues to ensure high availability and performance. IT Process Management: Follow ITIL-based processes for incident, change, and problem management. Windows Server Management: Handle patching and administration of Windows servers. Networking: Apply strong understanding of networking principles to support infrastructure. Storage Management: Manage storage systems and Open Shift storage configurations (PV, PVC). Bare Metal Servers: Perform installation, rack/stack, and decommissioning of servers (e.g., DELL, HP Pro Liant). VM Management: Deploy, operate, migrate (V2V, P2V), and decommission virtual machines in Open Shift and VMware. Shift Flexibility: Provide 24/7 support through rotational and night shifts. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of configurations, systems, and operational procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless operations. Monitoring: Use Prometheus and Grafana for proactive system and security monitoring.
