The Senior Technical Lead (Boomi) at HCL will be responsible for leading technical initiatives, driving architecture design, and implementing Boomi solutions. This role will involve working closely with cross functional teams to ensure the successful integration of Boomi across the organization.

Job Description – Boomi Technical Lead

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Boomi Technical Lead to design, develop, and manage integration solutions using the Dell Boomi platform. The candidate will play a critical role in driving integration strategy, leading development teams, and ensuring scalable, high-quality delivery aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership
   Lead the design, development, and deployment of integration solutions using Dell Boomi (Atom Sphere)
   Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Boomi developers and integration teams
   Own end-to-end solution architecture including HLD/LLD documentation
   Ensure adherence to integration and enterprise architecture standards

Solution Design & Delivery:

Design scalable integrations across ERP, CRM, Cloud, and legacy systems
Define integration patterns (API-led, event-driven, ETL/ELT where applicable)
Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Drive Agile delivery (sprint planning, backlog prioritization, release management)

Development & Integration:

Develop and oversee integrations using:

Boomi Process Flow:

Connectors (SAP, Salesforce, REST/SOAP APIs, databases)

API Management and EDI integrations:

Ensure reusable components and best practices are followed
Drive performance optimization and error handling mechanisms

Governance & Quality:

Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards
Ensure proper documentation (design, technical specs, runbooks)
Monitor and resolve production issues with root cause analysis
Ensure security and compliance standards are met

Stakeholder & Client Management:

Act as the technical SPOC for integration-related discussions
Collaborate with business, architecture, and infrastructure teams
Support client engagements, solution demos, and roadmap discussions

Technical Skills:

6–10+ years of IT experience with 3–5+ years in Dell Boomi
Strong expertise in:

Boomi Atom Sphere Platform:

API integrations (REST/SOAP)
EDI integrations (X12, EDIFACT) – preferred
Data mapping, transformation, and process workflows

Experience integrating with:

ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.)

Strong knowledge of:

Integration patterns & middleware concepts
Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) – added advantage
JSON, XML, SQL

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and oversee the implementation of boomi integration solutions.

2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design effective solutions using boomi.

3. Develop and maintain boomi integration processes and mappings.

4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on boomi best practices.

5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to boomi integrations.

6. Stay updated on the latest boomi features and functionalities to optimize integration processes.

7. Conduct regular performance analysis and tuning of boomi solutions to ensure efficiency and scalability.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient in boomi integration platform and its components.

2. Strong understanding of api and web service integration concepts.

3. Handson experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting boomi integrations.

4. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as aws or azure for boomi deployment.

5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

6. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams.

7. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Other Requirements

1.Boomi Developer Certification is preferred.
