About the role
Job Summary
The selected candidate must be able to understand IFC’s corporate application development and developer productivity by mainstreaming modern development tools, application frameworks (including .NET, React), cloud-native practices (Azure), DevOps, AI orchestration, and agile approaches to guide the IFC EDGE Building (EDGEV4) team to maximize velocity, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Solutions Architect include, but are not limited to: Collaborate: Performs advanced-level research and analysis in modern software engineering practices, architectural processes with limited supervision and work with the corporate application team as needed
Skill Requirements
Complex Problem Solving: Proposes robust technical solutions to moderately complex problems in cloud optimization, application modernization, and AI enablement Negotiation & Alignment: Seeks common ground and negotiates architectural design issues with internal and/or external clients to recommend for higher-level approval. Mentorship: Provides knowledge-based guidance, coaching, and training to engineering teams as needed

Practical Application: Requires practical application of professional knowledge at a broad-based level to complete difficult technical requirements Communication: Provide clear and concise communication to all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Solution Design and Validation: Collaborate with the development team to design solutions that meet business requirements. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to ensure alignment with corporate application standards Additional Responsibilities • Provide recommendations aligned with industry’s best practices • Perform other duties assigned by the IFC Project Manager as needed
