About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Ansible and scripting languages to join our IAC Engineering team. This role is pivotal in driving infrastructure automation, configuration management, and orchestration across our enterprise environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation playbooks and roles using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform across Linux and Windows OS's.

• Architect and implement end-to-end automation workflows for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and application deployment.

• Integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines and other enterprise tools.

• Engineer tactical automation solutions while following best practices.

• Collaborate with Cloud and Security teams to ensure compliance and scalability.

• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation scripts and workflows.

• Own and maintain automation documentation

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management.

• Expert-level proficiency with Ansible, including writing complex playbooks, roles, and modules.

• Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Tower/AWX

• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix/Windows systems and bash/shell scripting.

• Advanced experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins/u Deploy/Github Actions).

• Advanced experience with automation in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and hybrid environments.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or equivalent certification.

• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
