We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UDeploy Engineer to lead and optimize our deployment automation processes. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IBM Urban Code Deploy, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise-level release management. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable deployment solutions across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain UDeploy processes, components, and applications.

Develop and manage deployment automation for complex enterprise applications.

Integrate UDeploy with other DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, JIRA, Artifactory).

Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline release cycles.

Troubleshoot deployment issues and provide root cause analysis.

Implement best practices for version control, artifact management, and rollback strategies.

Monitor and optimize deployment performance and reliability.

Create and maintain documentation for deployment processes and configurations.

Train and mentor junior engineers on UDeploy usage and DevOps practices.
Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Urban Code Deploy.

Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, Groovy).

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Nice to Have

IBM Urban Code Deploy certification.

Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).

Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace).

Experience with automated testing frameworks and quality gates.

Knowledge of security best practices in deployment pipelines.

Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare).
